Here are some tips:
- Be sure to check out the Technical Suggestions page for the best quality video settings!
- Try to catch people’s attention in the first minute (long intros might need to be shortened or simplified)
- You might want to find out if YouTube will block your content before you spend hours working on it
- Consider using a popular song but do not include original instrumentals, lyrics, or vocals
- Visual presentation preferred, but can be audio only (see Submission Rules 7 and 8)
- In addition to on-screen text, closed captions are encouraged
